Nick set up his own workshop in 1998 after learning with Jeff Chapman and then being taught in and renting space at Stephen Hill’s workshop. Since then he has been making and repairing guitars for many people in the southeast of England and beyond and has been lucky enough to make guitars for people such as Eric Roche, Clive Carroll, Stuart Ryan, Thomas Leeb, Newton Faulkner and Richard Durrant. Nick sets great store by the fact his instruments are genuinely made in small numbers, by hand in a small workshop in the centre of Lewes, with each guitar usually being individually tailored to a particular customer’s taste in tone, feel and look.
Nick makes a wide range of steel string acoustic guitars of great beauty. He also makes his own designs of nylon guitars and baritone and terz models. Whichever instrument Nick makes for you can be sure it will look fantastic and play even better.
For those who want to amplify their acoustic instrument, Nick fits LR Baggs, K&K and many other pickup systems. Nick is not currently doing any general repair work
