NTC is a program that can be used to control any telescope connected to a host computer running Microsoft Windows. It allows you to move the telescope in focus, direct it to a visible object and much more.

Telescope Control Software:
The Control Software runs on a Windows NT/2000/XP computer. The user simply needs to run a zip file called NTC and then click on the menu item Local or Network Control. At that point, the user simply clicks on the direction he or she wants to move the telescope and clicks on the telescope. A selection of focus points are given as default. You can click on the lower right hand corner of the telescope image to open up a menu of focus points. The default focus points will be used if you do not change them.
You can move the telescope in Z-axis by clicking on the arrows found above the focus point.
You can zoom in and out of the image by clicking on the +/- buttons above the focus points.
Zooming in on a focus point will make the image appear larger to the right and when you click on a focus point, the image will zoom into the center.
When zoomed in, you can also change the focus point as well.
The telescope moves as you move the mouse pointer to the side. The pace of movement is slowed when the mouse pointer gets closer to the telescope image.
When a visitor wishes to see the image of a telescope, they can click on the telescope and it will open up in a new window. This will allow the visitor to see the telescope in a zooming camera (a software camera that will allow them to zoom in and out of the telescope image).
Zooming in and out of the image is very easy and takes only a few seconds.
There is a zoom control on the screen which works the same as the focal plane (focal plane is a piece of hardware that allows the telescope to accept its focus).
