Having first studied under the tuition of Phil Messor at the Totnes School of Guitarmaking in Devon, I then spent the next 4 years at Glasgow Clyde College, under the tuition of Scottish luthiers William Kelday, Paul Hyland and Michael Ritchie, where I developed and honed my skills as an instrument maker. I was awarded the Craftex Award for my instruments two years running in 2015 and 2016.
I’m now based in Glasgow where I have my own studio workshop, making fine quality, handmade, bespoke guitars.
