A couple of weeks ago I wrote about how I like to look for reviews of books I plan to buy. It’s a pretty natural way to go about things, as reading other people’s opinions can often make a book sound more or less appealing. And sure enough, while checking what my Facebook feed was offering, I saw a review of Light in the Ruins, by Kelly Link.
It’s the third and final book in the modern mythos Zelda mystery series, and it’s being released soon. It’s another short story collection, just as brilliant as its predecessors, but without the twist. I was very excited to read it, as I’d quite like to know what happens in the series.
Which is why I was a bit surprised when I first began reading it, and realized that I’d not yet made it all the way through. I should have seen this at the beginning, because I’d heard good things about the series in passing. But of course, it goes to show the importance of reviews.
When you first start reading Light in the Ruins, you’re faced with a surprising plot twist. Sure, things seem to be building towards it, but you don’t really get any hints about the resolution until you reach the end of the novel. That’s fine, as a mystery isn’t complete without a resolution. But it can be confusing.
Is it a thing? Is it just the end of this story? Is it the end of the series? And you spend so much time trying to work things out, only to find you’re too impatient to wait for the resolution to unfold. When you finally read the ending, it’s a little sad, and doesn’t really feel like the end of the series.
From there, though, I really loved the book. As I mentioned above, it doesn’t feel like the ending of the series. It just kind of makes you feel a little bit sad, and perhaps a little bit relieved. But that’s fine. As a mystery, it was just as good as the other books. But there were some really nice things about it, too.
Kelly Link has given us a modern mythology within the classical tale of the Canterbury Tales, and I’d like to know whether this is a reflection of modern life, or a complete take on things. When

Losing at life: the child/parent relationship and parenting in advanced cancer.
Child/parent relationships in two cases of advanced cancer were analyzed using an attachment theory perspective. A case study methodology was used to examine the child/parent relationship in the context of mothers’ experiences with their offspring in two instances where the mothers received diagnoses of advanced cancer. The original data were supplemented by semi-structured interviews with the mothers. The findings suggest that while both mothers acknowledged that they wanted to be parents in a new way during the time of their diagnoses, the original parenting role was gradually altered by the mothers’ responses to the changes in their relationships with their children, and ultimately transformed into a new relationship. Consequently, we suggest that the ways in which parents cope in response to illness, including the ways in which they cope with the death of a loved one, may have a lasting impact on the development of their relationships with their offspring.1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a stereoscopic picture display device for displaying a stereoscopic picture by using polarization separation and double projection method and a display method for displaying a stereoscopic picture.
2. Description of the Related Art
Conventionally, a stereoscopic picture display device using double projection method uses a liquid crystal shutter and adopts a method in which a left-viewing display panel and a right-viewing display panel, which are used for displaying a stereoscopic picture, are liquid crystal display panels, and a left and right projection lenses, which are used to project the left and right images to a viewer, are arranged with a predetermined interval therebetween, thus displaying a left and right image alternately on the liquid crystal display panel, and shifting the liquid crystal display panels on a time axis, where a viewer observes the alternately displayed images by using a liquid crystal shutter.
Alternatively, a stereoscopic picture display device using polarization separation and double projection method has been developed, which is capable of realizing a wider view angle by using polarization separation. In this stereoscopic picture display device, in addition to the left and right projection lenses used to project left and right images to a viewer, a polarization separation prism which transmits the left image light and blocks the right image light is arranged in front of the image display element of the left-viewing display panel, and a polarization separation prism which transmits the right image light and blocks the left image light is arranged in front of the image display element of the right-viewing display panel. In addition, a polarizer
